Social Networking for Business

Social networks are taking a big chunk of our daily lives and have set new standards in the way people behave. Consumer behavior and the use of smartphones are intertwining in a new dimension, more visual and interactive than ever. Phones are no longer used to call someone, but to message, chat and check one’s different social media accounts. The last thing we do before going to sleep and the first thing we do when we wake up is to check our Whatsapp, Facebook and Istagram accounts to see what we have missed overnight. This revolutionary change has deeply impacted brands that can no longer ignore these new standards and that are coming up with new and sophisticated ways to communicate and interact with their customers. Today, every brand must have a GOOD online presence. During their learning experience, students need to expand their knowledge beyond the personal use of social media, and more importantly, they need to understand they key elements that let a brand succeed online on the long run.
